Commissions

A personalised approach adds depth and emotion to the artwork, and we can tailor the size and colour scheme.  Or you just want something similar to some of my previous works.

I do not charge extra for commissions - you pay the same as for any painting of that size in my collection.

I am happy to have a friendly, non-binding conversation at any point!

The process is very straight forward. The important part is for you to have some ideas set out in mind at the beginning. 

Consultation

Firstly, I like to learn about your requirements. Here are some questions for you to consider, as a guide:

• The intention for the painting in context with the surroundings
• The required size: it helps if you tape out the desired size on your wall and measure that
  
• Favourite past work(s) from my portfolio (see 'Available' and 'Archive' on my website)
• Do you have any colour preferences
  
• Would you like to include any symbolisms (e.g. shapes representing number of members in your family)
  
• Is there a specific time frame for completion NB standard turn around is 4-6 weeks from payment of deposit
  

Do not be concerned if you are unsure of anything. You are helping me to get a feel for things that are relevant to you, and I can help figure out size requirements, if a piece is meant to hang over a specific piece of furniture, for example.

Cost

• I do not charge extra for bespoke work
• Cost will be the same as for any of my pieces of the same size
  
• Payment plans are available using Klarna or PayPal
• I can facilitate framing, no mark up
• Simply get in touch with me through the form below for a quote, there is no obligation associated

Development

• We state our agreement in writing (simply confirm my summary email)
• A 50% deposit is required at this point. This is non-refundable. 
• I create a visual draft

Creation

• The artwork comes to life over 3-5 weeks after agreeing the draft
• I will check in with you, to show you the work at around 80% completion
• We can discuss framing options, I can help and will just pass on any costs for these

Completion

• I ship (or deliver, if local) your artwork, accompanied by a certificate of authentication
• The remaining balance + any shipping & framing costs are due
