While making this piece, I thought a lot about some big life decisions that need to be made for our family. It is a visual meditation on progress, layering, and renewal.
The composition feels structured, almost architectural, but is softened by layers of painterly texture and imperfect edges.
The tension between structure and lightness speaks to the balance we continually seek in daily life: between stability and change, control and release, heaviness and lightness.
It’s a work that animates a room, inviting conversation and reflection in equal measure.
